Penrite recognises that the critical start point for any fluid management program is open and honest dialogue between the Customer and Supplier. This dialogue helps the Customer to 'buy in' to the concept while Penrite learns the precise, individual needs of the Customer. At this point, we can we establish base-line data for costs per production unit and, once the program begins, we set about systematically reducing costs year after year.
Crucially, the process should involve Customer representatives at all levels to implement process changes such as extending metalworking fluid and lubricant life-cycle, usually by replacing a mediocre product with a higher performing and longer lasting one. In this way, costs start to drop significantly.
Many of our initiatives target health, safety and environmental issues which can often be easily resolved through detailed planning and by implementing changes through joint CAPEX projects.
